The company has been established as a Social Enterprise; a Company Limited by Guarantee and Community Interest Company (CIC). Our partners include Havering Council, Havering PCT, Job Centre Plus, Havering College of F&HE and Havering Connexions.
Our aims are to:
Develop the employment opportunities and skills of young, disadvantaged and/or unemployed people
The company will provide trainees with career advice and assist them in developing employability skills, in particular people will develop presentation skills, learn interview techniques, CV writing skills and have the opportunity to develop the transferable skills relevant to the current labour market, such as team working, customer relationships, problem solving and business administration skills.
Get people into employment, work placement, work shadowing or training.
The company will work with employers to identify short to mid term paid and unpaid employment opportunities, thus giving trainees direct experiences of work. Trainees will develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills required to have sustained employment. |
